We suggest taking the youngest family members to a concert of the Fortissimo family in February. On February 25(Sunday) at 11:30 ам, brothers Deyan and Darin Angelov will tell “The Triangle and Concert Organ Tale.” Pavel Zlatarov will be the conductor of the concert. The family program also features Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony concerts with Anna Papadopoulou, Julian Vergov and conductor Maxim Eshkenazy and “Waltz Tale” with Leo Bianchi, Bogdana Trifonova and conductor Naiden Todorov. The season will end with the teenage “# othello” starring Zahari Baharov, Michaela Fileva, Vesela Babinova, Valery Tourmanov and conductor Maxim Eshkenazy. The full program is HERE, and tickets can be purchased from the box office of Bulgaria Hall or online.

A “Music of America” concert is something your gaming and movie buff friends will never forget. On March 14, the Classic FM Radio Orchestra and Amy Andersson, conductor of operatic, symphonic, Broadway musicals, and video game repertoire from the United States, will draw us into the realm of World of Warcraft, Starcraft Ii, Diablo Iii, Prince Of Persia, Crysis 2 and other popular video game tunes. Part of the plays were created by Bulgarian Penka Kuneva, a composer, orchestrator and arranger in Hollywood. She is guest composer, while Neil Acree (USA) is the guest conductor of the concert.

Cinema Violino, a concert of music from the films “Schindler’s List,” “Star Wars,” “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” and “Murder on the Orient Express” will take place on May 30. Katya Popov, a Bulgarian violinist and the first female concertmaster of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, will take part in the concert. The conductor will be Scott Dunne, who has devoted his entire career to film scores.

The “Music of America” program also features young American violinist Alexi Kenney, who is among the most promising new names on the world stage. Tickets for “The Music of America” are available for sale at the Cantus Firm’s box office in Bulgaria Hall or online.
