ABF Helps Develop Bulgaria’s IT Experts Of The Future

“Vratsa Software Society” will start the school year in October with free nine-month Java and PHP courses. 2018 promises a series of interesting IT events thanks to the support of America for Bulgaria Foundation, which will be provided over a period of three years. “Vratsa Software Society” is a group of young people led by Emilian Kadiiski and Teodor Kostadinov.

Emo and Theo are successful IT specialists from Vratsa, but also entrepreneurs with a vision and optimism about the potential of young people in the northwest Bulgarian city. In 2013, they decided to create an IT center and an IT community in their hometown through free nine-month programming courses and a series of IT events. Since then, there have been more than 1,000 participants a year in the various events providing participants with a chance for successful professional careers. Code Week Vratsa is the largest IT event in Northwest Bulgaria and is already part of the European Week of Programming.
